What are ninjas?

I jump around, without a sound,

I can go any place, without leaving a trace.

I walk on water, do as a please, 

Living in a secret hiding place, known to all, but not in whole.

Secret, ah…. yes, secret am I.

Who am I?

Well, I guess the poem I spontaneously decided to write explains the most of it.

Ninjas are cool.

Ninjas have been a rumor around Club Penguin ever since the beta testing. There was always some hint around the island that ninjas existed, but we’ve never been able to actually see one in person.

It’s not really known what ninjas can do, but we will find that out when their powers are shared among all of Club Penguin. If that happens, of course.

Where did ninjas come from anyways? Why not….. Samurai? or……… like Super Penguins?

Well, it started in Penguin Chat 3, where anybody could become a ninja if they wanted to.

Becoming a ninja then wasn’t as much of the rage as it is today. 

Club Penguin promised to release ninjas once Club Penguin officially opened, but it never happened.

The secret room is the dojo, no doubt. Many have pretended, no doubt. So, WHAT HAPPENED?

Either Club Penguin decided to move to the idea of a Secret Agent, or they are keeping us in suspense, waiting for it to get super popular (which it is already, it has been since it started.)

Hints about Ninjas

There are too many ninja hints and clues around Club Penguin to be just coincidence.

Here’s a huge list:

In the old site, the header showed a ninja if you clicked the N in NightClub.

In the Ski Lodge, the Mirror above the Fireplace shows a Shadow. Personally, I believe that’s a Ninja.

In the Lighthouse, you can see a Ninja’s Shadow. It’s right above the nets.

If you go to http://clubpenguin.com/ninja/, it gives you the classic Lost Page, but the colors are inverted to look black and gray, the typical Penguin Ninja colors. Hmmmm………rather suspicious….

Believe me, these aren’t just your ordinary footprints. Either these belong to a ninja, or they belong to a puffle. But why would a puffle be on top of a Puffle Pet Shop, instead of in a cage??? (Figure that one out for yourself. xD It’s not a great argument, but I can dream.)

What’s this? Hmmm…… This Ninja Egg was part of the ‘08 Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt in Club Penguin. It moved around a bunch, so it was pretty tricky!

A rather cartoonish (I mean really cartoonish) drawing of a ninja, it a Chinese Style Kung Fu Attack Pose. Now, I wonder if the storm’s super strong winds started tossing the ninjas around, and occasionally they’d go SPLAT! Such a silly thought. But it’s pretty cool.

So, Now What?

We Wait. We wait for the day when Ninjas do show themselves to the rest of Club Penguin, whether it be in a war, or in times of peace. Lest they help us in a time of peril, we will always, be waiting.
